My family (8) in all stay in this hotel Jult 20-27 2002 and had a not so good experience. First the rooms had no or very little air-conditioning and the rooms had a unpleasant odor. We asked to be moved and that proved to be worse. The front desk people plus the manager were not helpful at all, in fact they assumed we didn't understand. I've been to Cancun six times. I'm not ignorant of the language or customs. I have stayed at three other hotels besides this one and this was the "worst"The food was not real good either.With four children and four adults we still couldn't enjoy the food. It just was not good! We won't stay at the Continental again!! I'm sure better hotels are available for more money,but it's got to be worth it! We love Cancun. I hope the trend is not for a big rip off.
