We just got back from our one week stay at Blue Bay Village on Sunday October the 31 1999. We went for our honeymoon. Boy are we ever glad to be back! The service and the food at this resort was horrible. Let me start off with the cleaning lady who left our door unlocked after cleaning with all our valuables inside. We brought this complaint to the front desk and got nothing accomplished, not even an apology. We were very disappointed. Some of bar tenders were rude, the food was never ready on time, plates were kept on the tables for hours after we were done eating, bulldozers by the pool so that you couldnt even enjoy yourself lying in the sun, the beach was filthy, the list goes on and on. St. Martin is a beautiful island and we would definetly go back but certainly not to Blue Bay Village. We met other people who had worse cases but we will not get into that.
