They required an appraisal of the property in order to purchase and guaranteed to reimburse for the appraisal. I followed up on the deal and hired the appraisal company they used to do it. I paid $399 for the appraisal. It took a couple of months for me to get all the paperwork together that they required. I sent it off to them about 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing back. I have tried to call but get only a busy signal. I turned to the internet to get current information in order to contact them and came across this site. I am disturbed to find out they are not what they represented. >>>I have spent the better part of today trying to get a response from this company. All I got was a busy signal or hung up on. Never did talk to anyone. We have been in the process of trying to sell since early June when SAB contacted us. We have submitted everything as of August 30th and have heard nothing. Sent a Registered letter on 10/15, no response...post office has not even notified us of its delivery. HELP! Does anyone know how to go about getting these people to live up to their promises? Is it time for a class action suit? >> >> >I've been in contact with them in the past. They have called me and confirmed that all of the paper work was in order and that they are sending an "intent to purchase option". I got in contact with them and was told that the "option" letter was sent on the 28th of september. I have not received anything so far. They did say that they would send the paper work again if I didn't get it within a month. I've been trying to call them back and I've been getting the same response as everyone else. Busy signals and one hang up due to a bad conection. I faxed them a letter explaining that I didn't receive the paper work and asked them to call me back or send the option letter again. That was last Monday and I haven't heard from them since. I was thinking of going to Nassau and confronting them. Has anyone actually received an option letter? > IN SEPTEMBER 1999 WE RECEIVED A PURCHASED OPTION and MADE THE COUNTER OFFER AND SENT IT BACK. WE WAITED AND WAITED AND WAITED. ALSO TRYED TO CALL MANY OF THE PHONE NUMBERS. SAME RESPONSE AS EVERYBODY ELSE. JANUARY 15,2000 I RECEIVED THE SAME ENVELOPE BACK, STAMPED NO ADDRESS EXSISTED. YES 4 MONTHS LATER. AFTER CONTACTING ASSOCIATED APPRAISALS TODAY THEY REFERED ME TO A MAN NAMED ED STONE 1-954-419-9300. HE GAVE ME A NUMBER FOR SWISS AMERICAN BANK. I TOLD HIM I HAD TRIED TO CALL THEM MANY TIMES. HE SAID I WILL HAVE THEM CALL YOU IN 10 MINUTES. THEY DID. I TALKED TO A LADY NAMED NILSA. I TOLD HER EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST 5 MONTHS AND SHE SAID THE PHONE LINES WERE CUT AND THE PHONE COMPANY GAVE THEM 20 NEW LINES. IS THAT A SCAM OR WHAT????? SAB IS A SCAM IT WAS PROVEN TO ME TODAY. A BUSINESS JUST DOESN'T HAVE 20 NEW LINES PUT IN AFTER BEING IN BUSINESS FOR THAT MANY YEARS. I TRIED TO CALL NILSA 15 MINUTES LATER AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED.
