Royal Antiguan 04/22/2003

We have just returned from the royal antiguan and had a fab time. we were concerned after booking the holiday after reeding the reviews,ihonestly dont know what people were whinging about.for a 3* plus hotel the standards were fantastic for the caribbean (however we did upgrade to a sea view room ).the food was great , staff friendly ,rooms spotlessly clean.This was our third time to the caribbean and have never stayed anywhere with such fantastic views,the scenery was stunning.The beach was beautiful,and cleaned every morning.there were stalls on the beach with locals selling their goods.quite reasonable,but make sure you barter! Any one thinking of going to the royal antiguan please do not be put off by the reviews it is well worth going to.Just dont expect every thing to be done in a rush,the caribbean has one speed and that is slow, and as long as you understand that you will have a fab time!! lynn & dave lightfoot.
