Mango Bay Club - All-Inclusive

Reviewers Rating: Excellent
Got back last week from a wonderful ten day stay at the Mango Bay. This is my fifth trip to Barbados but my first stay at Mango. Why haven't I stayed here before?? From the minute I arrived I felt right at home. What a lovely, quiet, elegant, laid back hotel. I think the appeal is that it is a fairly snall compact hotel where it is so easy to get to know the staff and other guests. It is situated right in the heart of Holetown, so you have everything right on your door-step. Good Bars (Oasis), excellent restaurants (The Mews) and shops within three minutes walk. The food, mostly a la carte, is the best I have experienced at an all inclusive on Barbados. The beach is not very big but unless the tide was in, I could always find a sun-bed and spend my day sipping enless rum & cokes, watching the little family of green monkeys that live just at the side of the hotel and soaking up the caribbean sun. Heaven! The room I had was beach front and was very spacious. Beds were turned down every evening, rooms were cleaned promptly every morning and no shortage of towels for both bath and beach. The staff are all very professional but I did on occasion feel that it would be nice to see just a few more smiles. The pool is beautiful and very clean. I am already planning to return in June of this year and will be booking my place at Mango Bay for sure.
