Negril Gardens Resort 12/05/02

I am a travel agent and I have also stayed at this property 8 times now (just got back) and I cannot say enough about the resort, the staff, the food, the service.

Negril Gardens is a smaller more intimate property. One restaurant, one bar (Kenny is a trip at night). Rooms are just a bed and a bathroom, very clean. The food is EXCELLENT, something totally different at lunch and dinner. Breakfast is pretty much the same, but always very good. The grill at the beach is open from 2:30p to 5:30p and they make great cheeseburgers and I don't know what they do to their french fries - but they very good as well!

Although I take my son (who is 9yrs old)...he hangs out with the locals right on/near the property or plays soccer with the beach guys, it's not a resort for families with children. There aren't any "activities" that go on during the day.

This resort is a quiet resort (except when Alfred's next door has music at night 3 days per week), but it's not bothersome at all. It's in a perfect location you can walk either way up and down the beach. They have a garden side and a beach side...the garden side is VERY quiet.
