Sunset Beach Resort & Spa 12/22/02

We have been to several all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, and this resort has been the most disappointing.

Accommodations - We had a room on the 8th floor. View was excellent, but room and bathroom weren't very clean and beds very uncomfortable (hard). This resort is only 4 years old, but it looks extremely worn. Lack of upkeep is evident.

Pool - Clean and nice. No complaints.

Food - Was good. Not a large choice, but acceptable. The restaurants (Italian and Chinese) were enjoyable.

Beach - Very restricted area. You definitely can feel confined at this resort, as there was no opportunity to take a nice long beach walk. Also, very rocky and not very clean.

Water sports - Okay.

Entertainment - Poor. You could definitely tell they cut the budget for this. In addition, I felt that the entertainment staff was very disappointing. Lack of incentives and absolutely no appreciation for guests requested participation in activities. They enjoyed embarrassing people, however, that is not the kind of entertainment one looks for.

Wouldn't return again.
