Marigot/Anguilla ferry

Postby Rob » Sun Nov 26, 2006 3:13 pm

Does anyone know if the Marigot-to-Anguilla ferry
runs every half hour during the end of April and
beginning of May? Their website says they run three
times a day, but I have seen people mention running
every half hour.

Also, the website says they have a ferry that travels
between the St Martin airport and Anguilla once per
day. Does anyone have any info on this?
I have emailed the ferry service, but they have
not responded.

Thank you in advance.

The ferries from Marigot in St. Martin to Blowing Point in Anguilla run about every half hour year round. This is the least expensive option ($12 per person plus $3 departure tax)and does not require a reservation. It does require a taxi between the airport and the French side of St. Martin. Link also does a ferry service several times a day between the Simpson Bay Bridge near the airport and Blowing Point. There is also a boat shuttle provided by Funtime that runs several times each day between the lagoon at the airport and Blowing Point. This is about $60-65 per person one way.

Thank you for your complete, detailed response.
I just wanted to see all my options, since I
won't be booking airfare until the last moment.
I can book now for $600, or wait three weeks
before leaving, and book for $199.
