In a recent press report:
The Dominica hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA) wishes to note that all the public has a right to access all beaches in Dominica. This is in accordance with Cap 42:04 of the laws of the Commonwealth of Dominica.

In this context, however, the Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA) wishes to point out that as far as the use of beaches in Dominica is concerned, whether this is by locals or visitors, what is also important is the enforcement of the noise abatement act Cap 10 of 1993 and the Litter Act Cap 4 of 1990 so that visitors and nationals alike are able to enjoy use of the beaches without any hindrance or disturbance as a result of deviant behavior.
