Nesting turtles of Dominica

WELSH scientists are to discover why one of the world’s most magnificent sea creatures choose a certain beach to lay eggs, after travelling huge distances around the oceans.

Experts from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, have just returned from the Caribbean island of Dominica, where they have been tagging giant leatherback sea turtles as part of an international study of this endangered species.
