Adults Only in Paradise

From shns.com: "Longing for white sand and blue water sans the pitter-patter of little feet?

Looking for romantic, exotic or even erotic getaways without children _ yours or anyone else's?

Try one of the big-name, couples-only or adults-only all-inclusive resorts such as Club Med Turkoise, the Sandals Resorts, the Couples Resorts, the Secrets Resorts or SuperClubs's Hedonism Resorts.

'All-inclusive' generally means just that _ one price covers all lodging, meals, drinks, entertainment, taxes, gratuities, and most or all activities, sports instruction and sports equipment for the trip's duration.

All 12 Sandals resorts _ seven in Jamaica, three in St. Lucia, one in Antigua and one in Nassau, Bahamas _ are all-inclusive and couples-only. The newest is the Sandals Whitehouse European Village & Spa, on Jamaica's south coast. Seven-night stays begin at about $1,700 per person.

Couples Resorts operates four luxury, boutique-style, all-inclusive couples-only resorts in Jamaica _ Couples Ocho Rios, Couples Swept Away, Couples Negril and Couples Sans Souci, formerly the Sans Souci Resort & Spa.

Between July 12 and Dec. 24, a seven-night stay for a couple begins at about $3,766.

'It's probably the best trip I've ever been on and the nicest resort I've ever been to,' says Steve Munoz, 32, of Ross, Pa., who spent a week at Couples Negril with the woman who is now his fiancee in late January. 'The best part was just being able to just sit on the beach or in one of the hammocks and just enjoy being with each other.'

Last June, Chrissy Schultz and her boyfriend, Bob Kaleugher, spent a week at the all-inclusive, adults-only resort Club Ambiance in Runaway Bay, Jamaica.

'I really liked the atmosphere, and it was romantic and it was mostly couples,"' says Schultz, 23, of Ingram, Pa.

Less pricey than the better-known resorts, Club Ambiance still offered a nice mix of activities, including mixed-drink lessons, a steel-drum reggae band, acrobats, volleyball, beer-drinking contests, bike rides and a dance club, she says."

A seven-night stay begins at about $670 per person"
