Strawberry Hill Resort

As reported by Travel Weekly:

"ST. ANDREW, Jamaica -- Island Outpost’s Strawberry Hill resort has gone the all-inclusive route, “minus the plastic wristbands and buffet lines,” according to Jason Henzell, president of Island Outpost.

Rates at the 12-cottage resort, set 3,100 feet high in Jamaica’s Blue Mountains, now cover accommodations, all meals, most beverages, access to a customized stocked mini-bar, roundtrip transfers from Kingston, a stress-relieving treatment at the Aveda Spa, and taxes and services charges. Guests booking four or more nights also receive a day excursion to Lime Cay Beach.

“This new inclusive concept appeals to guests who don’t want to be worrying about the bill at checkout time,” Henzell said.

Guestroom amenities include a TV; DVD, CD and MP3 combo player; mahogany furnishings; ceiling fans; and candles and muslin netting. Complimentary WiFi service is available in the resort’s common areas.

Nightly rates range from $670 per room, double in a one-bedroom suite to $1,100 per room, double in a villa.

Prices at Island Outpost’s Caves (in Negril) and Goldeneye (in Oracabessa), both in Jamaica, already include meals, drinks and taxes; meanwhile, Jake’s (in Treasure Beach, Jamaica) remains an EP (European Plan) resort, with the rate covering accommodations only. Island Outpost’s property in the Bahamas, Pink Sands (in Harbour Island, the Bahamas), has offered a MAP (Moderate American Plan) rate for some time, covering accommodations, breakfast and dinner."
