Local musicians

From the Daily Herald: "PHILIPSBURG--As locally recorded and produced albums grow in popularity in St. Maarten, another artist and veteran on the music scene has added his notes to the mix. X-Rey recently released 'Rey: Mo Music, Mo Money,' a party soundtrack with a zouk and soca flare.

The album has been 'well received by the music lovers and is perfect for the party scene,' said X-Rey, who thanked music lovers for endorsing his efforts. He praised the production abilities of Funk Gumbs, who also worked on the album. 'Funk is definitely taking St. Maarten music to an international level.'

The nine tracks were written by the artist and performed by him except for 'Lady,' which was recorded in Guadeloupe with that island’s hottest artiste Vro and Legacy of St. Maarten.

'Rey: Mo Music, Mo Money,' with such tracks as 'De Whip‚ÄĚ and ‚ÄúBlack Man Story,' costs US $15."

Any other local musicians anyone can suggest?
