Anyone stayed here lately? How close are we to restaurants? Is the water calm or waves? Any must do's and don'ts? We are arriving in August. What type of money is used? How expensive are beers? Thanks! Mims

Nice small hotel just steps off the beach, water generallly fine for swimming and other activities, good dining along the beach and in Orient Village just a short couple of blocks away, you'll need to rent a car to see the island and dine around, shop in Marigot & Philipsburg, casinos, etc. Currency is Euro and/or USD

Thank you for your information.

Do they drive on the left side like the other islands? Or do they drive on the right like USA? Are there good signs around the roads?

Driving is the same on both sides of the Island as in USA. Roadsigns on Dutch side are in English, and in French on the French side but are clear enough to understand - pick up a free map at the airport arrivals and other free magazines. Caribbean-On-Line has a map you can view and download as well. This is a very small Island making travel times short.

Thank you!
