Alamanada

Anyone stay at the Alamanda on St. Martin? Any other recommended hotels near (or on) the beach that are not loaded with kids?/

We have stayed at Alamanda and CapCaraibes and would recommend them both, Alamanda being on the high end, nice pool,limited ocean views, beach chairs, charge card for dining, restaurant at the hotel, in the heart of Orient Village, very near the square where you'll find dining and entertainment. Cap not as fancy but still very nice offering the same except no restaurant on site, both are just steps off of the beach.

Also steps off the beach are Caribbean Princess and L'Hoste, good choices as well.
