You can watch the planes landing from the beach at Maho. Also some of the hotels along the airport runway may be good locations, such as Mary's Boon where there is an observation deck for guests to watch planes landing and taking off.

A day trip to St. Barts also offers a great beach to watch the planes land. It's a small airport without jumbo jets, but dramatic nevertheless.
