It would have to be the Tides and a close second the Cliff - quite pricey but well worth it.

I would reverse that and say The Cliff, then The Tides. These are both expensive and at the other end of the scale I would put Just Grillin' and Bay Bistro followed by Cafe Sol.

Barbados Restaurant Favorites

On the West Coast, The Tides is our favorite, followed by The Cliff.

On the South Coast the exiciting, new The Restaurant at Southsea would definitely rank as our overall island favorite.

I second Just Grillin as a good, casual favorite.

Most definitely Tides - it's just wonderful. Didn't go to The Cliff this year as there was a load of high rise building going on around it - perhaps affecting the view? Noise??

Also for a naughty but nice bite to eat is Flindt's Patisserie at Holetown - delicious! They have another branch further south which we called in at but were forced to flee before ordering because of the noise from the jack hammers on the opposite side of the road.
