Woman's World states *Must-See* Cayman

Postby KarenS » Fri May 12, 2006 7:01 am

From Cayman Net News: "Six tourist attractions this week landed the Cayman Islands in the Woman’s World magazine, which devoted a two-page spread to the 'must see' sites of the country.

The Islands capital, George Town, Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, Seven Mile Beach, Stingray City, the Sister Islands and the Bloody Wall in Little Cayman were all covered in the publication.

Woman’s World, which has a circulation of 1.6 million, headlined the article 'Dive into the Cayman Islands'.

'These little limestone-based islands are surrounded by an undersea world of awesome reef systems, cliff-like drop-offs that plunge thousands of feet – even miles – to the ocean floor and exotic marine life rarely seen elsewhere,' said the article.

Also of interest to the author was the Islands’ dining, which is classified as 'an international flavour as well as plenty of down-to-earth American restaurants and a wide variety of recreational activities as even business travellers need a break'.

The Island’s status as the fifth largest financial centre in the world, its offshore banking and tons of lodging options that range from casual to the ultra-luxe, were listed as features of the Cayman Islands as well.

Other pluses stated were the duty and tax-free shopping that make it a good spot for a price break on the imported goods, said the magazine."
