From Travel Weekly:
Travelers headed for the Cayman Islands via Miami no longer have to pack their hiking shoes. Cayman Airways has changed its Miami check-in counter to the right of the Concourse F elevators.
The change from Concourse E to Concourse F makes it easier for Cayman Airways' passengers to access their departure gate in terminal F.
"The new location shortens the walking distance from counter to gate significantly," said Dave Gibson, Cayman Airways' Miami station manager. "In fact, it will be one of the shortest walks at the Miami Airport for any airline."
Passengers who transit the Miami Airport know well the distances between terminals; in fact, the airport posts signs at various terminals noting the time in minutes it will take to get from terminal to terminal.
Cayman Airways' six new counter positions are next to the Air France check-in counter and near the SBarros Italian restaurant.
