Crab season in Cayman

Unlike other parts of the globe, the Cayman Island has more than four seasons, defined by things we like to eat. Our year opens with Wahoo Season and ends with Fruitcake Season. Right now it’s Crab Season and word in the streets is this is one of the best in years. Veteran Newlands crabber William Ebanks wanted to make sure I was aware of this and offered to keep his crabs penned until I could get pictures and join his family for the picking process last weekend.
