Travel & news discussion about the British Virgin Islands

Travelling among the BVI.

Postby Harding » Sun Jan 08, 2006 4:27 pm

A one day stop at Tortola so enthused me that I want to return for longer - but I want to know whether there are any boats (even self drive!) that would enable me to visit the several BVIs during my stay on Tortola.

Can anyone please advise?

Jim,
Very helpful - just what I wanted so thanks a lot.

Your "Location" makes the mind boggle; I reckon you do a lot of dreaming.

Ferry also

We like to stay on teh BVi's because there are so many ferries that go between the islands all day long and they only take maybe 20 minutes.
If you cant rent the boat for more then a day or 2, thats a very easy way to get around for cheaper. Make sure you hit white bay on Jost van dyke too. Its our favorite
