Postby KarenS » Thu Mar 02, 2006 7:51 am

As reported in Travel Weekly: "Last-minute availability at three properties represented by luxury tour operator Island Destinations includes a four-night, all-inclusive package at Peter Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands, available March 15 to 19, from $900 per room, per night, double, and a seven-night plan at the same resort, available March 18 to 25, from $1,230. A five-night plan at St. Barth Isle de France from March 31 to April 5 is priced from $810 per room, per night, double."

Has anyone ever been to this resort? Reviews?

Peter Island

It is a very nice upscale place. 2 nice beaches, 1 fancy restaurant (long pants required) and one casual restaurant on the beach. You could definately relax there. Going all inclusive would take the pressure off the $28 burger and fries at the casual place.

You can also take their ferry over to Road Town for a change of scenery. I can't remember if Simaril is still doing day sails, I have seen here in a while.

There is also a dive shop on site and some great diving nearby. Wreck of the Rhone is close (google that one)
