Turks & Caicos Music and Cultural Festival Special

Postby KarenS » Thu Jun 01, 2006 12:08 pm

From "PROVIDENCIALES, TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS - The Palms, a 72 Two and Three Bedroom Suite resort and member of The Leading Small Hotels of the World, knows how to indulge festival goers who gather in Turks & Caicos for the third annual Turks & Caicos Music and Cultural Festival on Providenciales during July 31 to August 7, 2006. What could be better than combining the sounds, sun and Caribbean culture with luxurious surrounds at The Palms including a breathtaking $1.8 million infinity pool; Tropical Fusion cuisine at Parallel23 or Plunge restaurant and bar, with the choice of swim-up tables or a sunken dining room; plus a beautiful spa? The only thing better than this, is enjoying it all for free.

Festival guests can enjoy more post festival sun, sand and surf when they stay at The Palms for six nights and receive the seventh night free. The special package applies to new bookings and is not applicable to groups. Rates at The Palms start at $300 for a Luxury Room. Rates are subject to a 10% tax and 10% service charge, and include round trip airport transfers, daily buffet breakfast, non-motorized watersports, entrance to the fitness center, tennis and welcome amenity.

Highlights of the festival include performances by Ludacris, a 2006 GRAMMY award nominee; American Idol winner Fantastia, whose 2006 accomplishments include four GRAMMY award nominations and a platinum R&B album; UK-based GRAMMY award-winning Steel Pulse; Yolanda Adams another GRAMMY award-winning singer who has re-invented gospel.

Additionally, festival goers will witness a Boat Regatta, Float Parade at Turtle Cove Marina, a closing night Beach Party and the Chief Ministers Cup Golf Tournament. For festival information visit"
