Ginger-
You may want to try the Royal West Indies. Sometimes they run specials with 5th night free when you stay 4 nights.
RWI is not a huge resort, it bigger then Sibbone or Turtle Cove. You can check their website
www.royalwestindies.com. There are eight buildings with #8 being the fartherest from the beach...2 - 3 minute walk and #1 being right on the beach.
When you fly into Provo, RWI has a shuttle which picks you up at the airport and it is about 15 minute ride to resort. The shuttle also takes you back to the airport when returning home.
Most car rentals will come to the resort, pick you up and take you to their office to sign papers and pick up a car. When you return the car, they will give you a ride back to your resort. We have used AVIS which has a location at the airport, and also 5 minutes from RWI. Small compact, which we drove all over the island, was 34.95 a day. We only used it a couple of days to go places we couldn't bike to or take the Gecko shuttle bus to. RWI has bicycles to use for free, must be returned each day by 6:00 pm.
My friend and I have been there many times and this year her husband came for our second week. We do not do a lot of adventurous things, mostly enjoy the beach and the beautiful water, eat a few dinners out.
Also, the Mango Reef restaurant is on site at RWI and it has a menu with many different dinner selections and is also reasonable priced.
Enjoy your trip! I just got back this week and can't wait to return. You will love the beach!
